Refund Policy

Damages and issues

If your chocolate delivery has been damaged in transit or you receive the wrong item please fill out our return form here or email sayhello@bennettschocolate.co.nz within 48 hours so we can evaluate the issue and provide the appropriate solution.

To ensure the best quality, our chocolates should be stored in a cool, dry place between 16-20°C and away from direct heat sources and light. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for chocolates that have been improperly stored after delivery.

Change of mind

Unfortunately, if your order has already been processed we cannot provide refunds if you have changed your mind about your purchase as these are perishable goods.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received your refund request and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

We do our best to dispatch orders promptly, but please note that delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. Unexpected delays can occur due to courier issues, especially during busy periods.

A general guideline is:
For North Island addresses, usually between 1 - 2 working days for your parcel to arrive. For South Island and Rural addresses, usually between 3 - 4 working days for your parcel to arrive.

Dispatching
Orders placed before 1:00 PM are dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after this time may be dispatched on the next business day.

Please note that our dispatch operations run from Monday to Friday only.

Pick-Up Option
You're welcome to collect your order from our Bennetts Chocolate Flagship Store in Mangawhai, available 7 days a week.

International Shipping
At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Shipping Rates
Orders Over $100: Free standard shipping (Excludes outer-island deliveries)
Orders Under $100: North Island $12.50 and South Island $19.00
Orders to Waiheke: $20.00
Orders to Great Barrier Island: $75.00

Warm Weather Advisory
To maintain the quality of your chocolate, we recommend having someone available to receive your delivery and move it to a cool place immediately.

Please note: We cannot take responsibility for melted chocolate if the parcel is left unattended, stored in temperatures above 20°C, or exposed to direct sunlight after delivery.

Multiple Delivery Addresses
Our online store supports shipping to one address per order. For deliveries to multiple addresses, please get in touch with us at sayhello@bennettschocolate.co.nz and we’ll be happy to assist.
